Jim Fleming is a certified HERS rater. "California Certified Energy Rating and Testing Services " aka "CalCERTS" is my HERS provider. CalCERTS charges a transaction fee called a Certification Processing Fee for every HERS inspection. This fee is separate from any charges by Jim Fleming Consultant. The HERS rater is required to collect this Certification Processing Fee and to forward the full amount to CalCERTS. For projects that do not require a HERS certificate or CF-4 form, no processing fees are required.

- Certificate Processing Fee: One fee charged per address: $55.
- Duct Pressure Testing: For Residential building with a single HVAC system: $200.
- For testing a 2nd or 3rd system in the same building, on the same site visit: $80.
- Blower Door: (House Infiltration Test) - while on same job site for Duct testing $80.
- Blower Door: (House Infiltration Test) - requiring a separate job site visit $150.
Polices:
- Lower rates apply to multiple homes in a single development and for multifamily structures.
- Jim Fleming Consultant makes every reasonable effort to work with the HVAC contractor to obtain passing results. However, re-testing, waiting time and time spent assisting the contractor to identify leak locations are subject to additional charges payable at the rate of $90.00 per hour.
